Guys, this was posted today on my Netscape page. It even has a link at the bottom that takes you to a thread here on Treo Central.

How the heck are you so quick? ;)
In my defense, I didn't see that because I only look at the board here, and not the entire Treo Central site. Sorry. :(

PalmOS 5.4, sure.
I don't really care as long as it has EV-DO and some other minor improvements. Anything but Windoze... please!!!!

YES !!
We have a rich product roadmap of Palm OS-based handheld computers, mobile managers AND Treo smartphones that we intend to deliver. Our Palm OS customer loyalty is extremely high, and we intend to continue to earn that loyalty with great Palm OS-based products. We have sold more than 30 million Palm OS-based products over the years, and it is not our intent to walk away from such a strong and loyal user base. That's why in May we extended our license for Palm OS, giving us the right to continue to make and market Palm OS-based products until 2010.
(I still believe in the 700p !!)

From Colligan's letter: "I thought I had made this perfectly clear with earlier statements, but let me reiterate that our announcement..."
That's not an arrogant statement. Obviously you were not perfectly clear big guy. I just hate when people write/say things like that. It's so unproductive.

Actually, he did make this perfectly clear. Unfortunately, people will believe what they want to believe, regardless of the facts.

Exactly, happens all the time. From a business point of view he is doing what he needs to in order to move his company forward. Putting all your eggs in one basket does not ensure survival. Carefully diversifying is necessary..
I could think of a dozen more cliches if you want.
Hope everyone is well. I haven't been around in awhile!
